Forgestar F14's on a G37S??

So I've found what appears to be a good deal on a set of Forgestar F14's (19's) with tires. The previous owner had them on a G37, but they look a bit WIDE on his car (but not on the Forgestar site pictures, however). The tires are Nitto Invo tires and are 245/40/19 front 275/35/19 rear. Is that too wide? It seems wide when the stock fronts are 225's and the stock rears are 245's.

I'm a total noob on this whole wheel/tire thing...as you can probably guess!

Anyone have an opinion on this one way or another?

Thanks much!!

Hywel

that should be alright. im running 245/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 in the rear. if its too wide you can always stretch the tire. that is of course if thats the look you want to go with.

Did you get these on eBay last week? Were they black? If so, I exchanged a number of texts with the owner and the wheels should fit no issue.

Depends on the offsets, but I'm running a 285/30R20 on my G37x that's on eibachs with no issues so far.

What offsets are you running?

Whoops, forgot to add that. I'm on:

Front - 245/35R20 +32
Rear - 285/30R20 +40

I can post a couple photos later when I get home if you actually want to see, but they are essentially flush with in-spec camber.

I didn't get them on ebay, still pondering...I don't know about offsets or anything like that, but they are matte black.

I don't want to have to mess with anything on the car or buy anything else; I'm on a budget, but need new tires relatively soon, the price of rims with tires was close to new tires alone so I figured maybe I could justify the purchase, but it doesn't seem like it's a black and white kind of answer so it may be that I'll just go ultra budget and plastidip what I have and try to wait another season on the tires i have!

Thanks all for your responses!!

Was the previous owner lowered? Hopefully the offset is not too aggressive for you. Otherwise, you might rub.

im running 245/40/19 and 285/35/19 and all is good... no issues... offsets are +22 on the front and +35 on the rear... unless you are going more aggressive on the offsets, then you might rub...

no such thing was too wide!

on a more helpful note, it sounds like it should fit perfectly fine

I've always had a soft spot for the F14s. Now you gotta lower the G to compliment the wheels.

I figured someone would say I needed to lower it! That's on the list, just not soon!!

The F14's are nice...was a decent deal.

Super old thread revival. Looking at a set of F14s.
Rear: 275/35/19 19x11 +15 offset
Front: 245/40/19 19x9 +20 offset

They are coming off a 350Z. will they fit and clear a G37S? Currently stock ride height with plans to get Coils down the road.
