Wheels Dilemma

Wheels Dilemma
What I'd like to do is get some fancy new black wheels (my car is silver) but my budget is constrained right now.
I have standard 10 spoke S wheels on my coupe. Scratched the heck out of one of them so I need to get it refinished...what I'd like to do is just get them all redone in black instead. I know some folks don't like how they look, but it's good enough for me, for now. Only problem is, is that my G is the only car I own, and I can't not have it available, and I don't have another set of wheels to put on while the current one's are painted.
I'd noticed on ebay that some places are offering chromed wheels in a core exchange service...but none will do black. Since I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place here, what's the opinion of folks: do chrome wheels look dumb on a silver car (especially one with a stillen grill)??
Thanks for any input!!!

Hey bro, there are plenty of members on the forum that Plastidip their wheels and it looks good and it seems like a quick and easy project that you can do at home over the weekend.
You should be able to search this here on the forum

It doesn't matter what other members think look good or not, if you like black rims on silver its your taste that matters most.
Now as for painting and a tight budget, plasti-dip is of course on the menu. However, if you do some research on the net you might find a few DIY's on how to repair and repaint you own rims (basecoat/clearcoat). That way you could work on one rim at a time and not lose time of use of your G (use your spare if you have to travel in an emergency). Sure it may look funny for a bit, but you still have use of your car and feel good you saved money and did it yourself.
