tires and spacers on stock coupe

I am considering a drop to remove the wheel gap, but was thinking of an alternative. Would upgrading the tires to a wider tire (245 front and 275 rear) on stock rims with spacers (not sure the size needed to sit flush with these tires) help eliminate the gap without actually dropping the car? Anyone have any pics? Thanks in advance.

it would look like a 4x4 with spacers.

Can't get rid of the 'tractor' gap without a drop.
Are you on factory wheels? Adding wider tires will only increase the width of the tire itself, which won't affect the look of the gap whatsoever. It'll bring the tires closer to the fender according to the size of tire you choose, but you'd have to get a massive tire to be flush (if you are indeed still using factory rims), or get new wheels with an appropriate offset. Anything more than 245F and 275R, on factory wheels, will probably look weird. I want to upgrade my tires and was thinking about that exact setup, but 275 on factory wheels looks too square to my taste, and I don't really want to get new rims, so I will probably stick to 265...maybe

Nonetheless, there is no getting rid of that gap by just adding wider tires.

You also mentioned spacers...same thing. Your tires will be nice and flush, with a nice gap still.

Anyone else have any other ideas?

Bigger wheels could do it slightly. Just bigger tires will look weird, bro!
