(AWD Coupe) Tire Size and Brand
Guys,
I need some help here,
I saw a forum member's car (G37SAM) Vertini Magic:
Front: 20 X 9 +20
Rear: 20 X 10 +35
And I absolutly love how they sit with meaty tires:
He is running the following,
Front: 255/35
Rear: 285/30
I plan on getting same spec wheels (possibly the same wheels, but matte black w/ chrome lip) and being dropped on Eibach Pro Kit like he is as well...
The problem is.. mine is an AWD Coupe,
After doing research, I understand it's okay to run stagger setup as long as the rolling diameter is the same.
Would this set up work with my AWD? I know the rolling diameter is different, but would it work without triggering the AWD all the time?
Thanks guy!!!

Not sure what the rolling diameter difference is on the 255/35 and 285/30 is so I can't really comment on that. If I were you, I'd go with a 245/35 tire in the front and you can leave the rear at 285/30. If I remember correctly, that puts you at about .6% difference in rolling diameters. I ran that setup for a few thousand miles and didn't have any problems on my AWD coupe. PM me if you need some additional help. Happy to help a fellow X'er

yeah... 245/35 should suit me better, thank for you input,
I also have tire questions if you, or others can help me out,
After looking around the "wheel&tire" thread for a few days,
I decided to go with the following tires,
Bridgestone RE760
Hankook V12
I want to know if I'm making the right decision, for what i want to do with my car,
I am aware that 20" wheels won't be better as opposed to going with 19" and getting fat tires, if i want to track lightly on occasion, or spirited driving
But as of now, getting light forged wheels, and good tires, and coils is out of my price range,
So i decided to lean more towards the "Form" factor. But want to still retain a little of the fun factor.
If I want to do occasional spirited driving/auto x/tracking/and also drive good in rain
Which tire would you guys recommend on my 20" wheels
I hear for the price, the V12's can't be beat,
but if I can shell out a few hundred more for a sigificant improvement, I'd go that route
Sorry for the long post, and an input would be appreciated!
Thanks!!
