Different color wheels

Got my car in August of last year. It is a 2011 graphite shadow g37s coupe. I thought the wheels were all a gunmetal color, which I have never seen before, but now I realize that the rear 2 are a gunmetal color and the front 2 are a hyper silver like color. Not sure what to do. I will talk to my dealer and see what they say, but anyone got any suggestions? Was thinking of demanding some ipl wheels but not sure how well that would go over, lol.

It took you 8 months to notice the wheels are different colors? Post a picture? My guess is the dealer switched out some damaged wheels with a car on the lot for a customer and had them refinished and put back on yours. Was it new or used when you bought it?

A month or 2 after buying I could see the dealership wanting to correct it, but this long would make me suspicious. Hopefully they are willing to work with you and make it right, good luck!

Good luck with the dealership, guess it depends on how nice they feel that day. Most likely they won't do anything about it.

dealer = stealership. If you want them changed, they'll most likely charge you to change them since they're not broken or damaged, which I'm assuming they're not.

I won't be accepting no for an answer, this is bull**** and possibly fraud. I simple replacement for the rear wheels will be sufficient.

8 months to spot wheel color was off? Might as well check the whole car over properly. You might see something else you missed

If it's been 8 months, good luck getting them to do anything. After 8 months it's quite possible (and reasonable) that they will think that you are trying to scam them and changed them out yourself. I hope it works out for you.

If it took you 8 months of driving the car to notice them, are they really that different in color? Did you remove one and place it next to the other one? A photo of them side by side would be great.

I haven't removed them and placed them next to each other, but you can slightly tell in pics. Almost looks like the front has light shining on them and the back are in the shade, but they are both in the same light.

How do I reside a pic for the forum?

Dealer has already said they will order a new set of wheels and compare them.

After 8 months YOU may look like the one trying to commit fraud, LOL. Thats along time to notice a difference in rim colors, bro. Not sure how you didnt catch that when you looked at the car.

BUT

good luck and let us know how you make out. Maybe they were the same but 2 faded a bit?

not trying to be a d***, but DAAMN!!! How does it take you 8 months to figure something like that out? i wish you the best of luck, but like others have stated, I seriously doubt they'll do anything at this point. They'll probably try to blame it on something that you did. (ex: telling you that you use the wrong products to clean the wheels which caused discoloration)
