Wheel/Offset Help

a buddy of mine bought some mrr gt1 rims for his 2008 G37s Coupe

20x8.5 +35 (f)
20x10 +43 (r)

we found out during trying to mount them that they would clear his big brakes. The place he bought them from is offering to send spacers to rectify the problem. We are at a crossroads as to send them back or get the right size spacers.

The issue is he doesn't want to get spacers that will leave an offset that maybe too aggressive, flush with the fender would be ideal .. also just to note he will be lowering with eibach springs soon also.

any of you wheel wizards can chime in on what size spacers might work or is it best to just send them back

thanks

He could do a 10mm spacer with no problems what so ever and be pretty close to flush.

I read it.. i actually read a couple threads.. and found out 20/35 is the optimal offset .. that thread was a little too aggressive for my taste

I would send them back too if that was an option and just get the right offset and or disk type.

So why doesn't your buddy use your offsets as a guide then?

Concerns? I don't have any! You and your buddy do. Either your buddy gets spacers and or he sends back the wheels in exchange for a set with the correct offsets for his taste.
