There are much better tires available than the RS-A. The recommendation about going to Tire Rack for reviews, survey results, and comparative pricing is excellent. I have had good results with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, but as noted they are expensive.

RS/As are dangerous. Period. I had them on a 2009 Mazda 3 and my 2009 G37 and they performed poorly on both. Terrible, absolutely terrible in any snow at all and not much better in rainy conditions.
Both sets were replaced well before they had to be. Well, in my opinion I guess they had to be....
