6 spoke is best spoke

Hey guys, Anyone running 5-zigen gn-plus rims or replicas?
I love love LOVE that clean flat six spoke designe. All busines, no need for bling, no weird or waving spokes, no bull&%$#.
Problem is 400 bucks for 18" is a little much. I know I know "You get what you pay for" but So anyone got any ideas on alternatives? I've checked out the Konig backbones which were ok but for 170 bucks I'm a little worried about quality.

So yeah, anyone running these? How do you like them? anyone have some they wanna sell some used? anyone got some cost effective alternatives?

Google Image Result for http://daliracing.com/v666-5/catalog/x-images/5zigen-gn-plus-bronze.image.jpg

Addition: I've found rims like buddy club R1's, mugens, and Advans....all 500$ and over. What's going on? Since when was Six spokes the magic number? Yikes

I think Rota and Varrostoen both make knocks offs like that. Good luck and prepare to be flamed.

Haven't you been posting about boosting your G and not being too concerned about money? You're looking for 500+HP, right? Track car, etc... Money was little object, correct?

Yet, you're worried about $400 per wheel and actually considering something that costs $170? Your quote above is correct - you have to pay to play. Since you do not seem willing to pay, I would urge you to just keep your stock wheels. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but if you are serious about building a 500HP car that you will use on the track, please do not install cheap, poor quality or replica wheels. It is dangerous. If you're not afraid to "lay down the cash," please do not skimp on wheels.

Just my $.02.

These actually arent going on the G. These are going on a show Scion xb (I didn't pick* the car guys). The thing is We have a somewhat limited budget for this project and we blew a lot of it on goofy stuff like neon, subs and other bull****. So you'll understand if I'm trying to pinch pennies. I just dont want a set of rims that's going to fall appart or get dinged/chipped into oblivion in between shows since the car is owned and driven daily. We COULD swap out rims after every show but I'd rather not have to do that every weekend.

Sorry about that guys, should've specified what they were being used for

Hmmm...interesting how in the OP before you edited it you mentioned something about tracking the car. So....you're going to track the xB? Or you realized how ridiculous it sounded to get knockoffs of an already cheap wheel and edited your post?

I'm going to track MY car, and no I'm not putting knock-off 5-zigens on it to do so. I actually haven't decided what I'm going to roll on when the day comes. I'v got a lot to consider before I get to Wheels.

As for the xB, that thing will never see the track. It's a show car that's owned by a buddy of mine. Thing is we're pooling cash for this build in the hopes it will earn us a little scratch in turn.
