Save some more cash and do it right by getting coilovers.. BC Racing, Tanabe, Megan and a few others offer real good ones for $1k.. KW V3's are the forum favorite, but run $2k.
and what a previous poster said.. you can adjust your height with coils.. not so much with springs

You have to first decide what type of look are you going for...if you want a more performance look, then 20's on stock suspension is not the way to go, but if you want a flashier look and don't mind wheel gap or don't know what it is then you can get away with it.

You have done a great job on this white g37. Maybe changing out all your exerior lights to LED will make a huge difference. I, myself, in search of LED exerior lights but I can't seem to find one. Any help on this?

And the suspension is stock.
I know I should lower it a bit.

That looks pretty good.
Not trying to thread jack but i'm in the same position regarding living in the northeast so I don't want to lower the car.
Will 19" aftermarket wheels on stock sport suspension look like a jacked up 4x4? Anyone have pictures?

Considering the G37 sport actually comes with 19" wheels you can just look that up anywhere. I'm looking for 20" pics on stock suspension...definitely more rare, but nonetheless...what I'm looking for.

The 4x4 comments are exaggeration. The G37 didn't come looking like a 4x4 when we bout them lol. People are really speaking IN COMPARISON to being lowered. If you have a nice pair of 20's, it will still look nice...a definite upgrade to stock at least.

My second choice was 245/40/19 all around with these Bremmer Kraft wheels.
Any opinions anyone? Besides...'lower your car'...?...

I'm in the same boat as the OP - have the g37x coupe in a midwest state. I'm not trying to lower it and would like to see 20's on stock suspension. I think wagonmaster69's gray one looks nice. Would like to see more.
Still dreading the day that I swap out the god awful yellowish foglights... one step at a time.

Have to agree with everyone else, you really need to drop it. Go with coilovers so you can always adjust it to your liking.
I think it just looks weird that you can almost fist that gap in the front wheels.

Dropping it brings many other problems. I've dropped cars before...done with that. You start getting weird alignment issues, premature wear of parts, rubbing, not to mention these things cost a lot of money...especially coilovers. Been there done that. It's also not practical where you get heavy snow...it decreases snow handling and the gap is sorta nice when you get snow packed in there. I don't have a problem with the gap. Low rides and stiffer suspensions equals crappy turn-in on snowy/icy roads...from experience. If I lived in California/Florida...my car would be dropped on Eibachs or something, but I don't.
