235 tires on OEM 18 G37X wheels?

Just say no!!!!!

@Neal, what happens when a 245 tire is installed on a 7.5" wheel, which is then rotated to the rear of the car (which originally had a 8.5" wheel). The idea is to get a square setup with 245/45/18 all around instead of the staggered set up the car came with. How will handling/cornering be affected?

Does anyone have pictures of the two scenarios?

It's all explained on TireRack's site - look for "Section Width".

I wish I had 18" wheels... I'd go with the 245/45-18 for sure.

bumping this up because I have a similar question. I currently have 225/50/18's all around on the stock X sport wheels (18x17.5) all around. Will switching to 245/45/18 all around make the car appear jacked up (will the wheel gap appear bigger even tho it won't be)? Car is on stock suspension. Thanks.

Your sidewall is 45% of the width since your "new" tire is wider. Compared to your old tire being 50% of the width. Still roughly the same diameter though

Tires for me also
I'm gonna be looking for new tires soon and want to know if I would have issues running 235 tires on the stock 18 G37x coupe wheels. Current tire size is 225/50/18. Would also consider other sizes, but don't want the tire to look to dumb being low profile on stock wheel. Taking ideas.
