Anyone use TireWet spray?!
Just wondering if anyone uses the spray. If you do, do you recommend it ? I already bought a bottle but haven't used it yet. Also do you recommend any special method of applying it like on a rag or something?

awesome i'll probably use it after my first car wash and then dump it and get a water based product since that's what people seem to recommend.

Never used it. I find the result a little too shiny for my taste. I use Griots Garage tire product. I forget the name but is specific to tires only and leaves a nice satin finish. First time I use it, I was surprised to see the black goo but the results last for a few months. Just be careful not to get on the rim as it will leave black streaks. Removable but adds to the work.
Also, some tire shine product will turn your tires brown over time. Avoid those products - meguiars tire shine and armor all did that to me.

I have been using the Armor-All product that's a gel and you apply with the black sponge type device. Works great and doesn't turn my tires brown (used on 5 different cars).

One of the biggest custom wheel and tire shops in Houston recommends using 'regular' spray ArmorAll on my tires - his shop put it on every set I've purchased there. I've been using it for years and no brown tires like I got with many of the "special" tire shine products. I use a curved sponge applicator to apply it so it does not get all over. Not a dull or overly gloss look, it even helps to protect the tires from UV damage. And it does not damage paint or rims.
