All-season tire recommendations

Hi,

I have a 2010 g37s sedan. You guys have any all-season tire recommendations? Was thinking about getting another summer pair but dont' want to die hydroplaning

Thanks!

I'd go with the Kumho Ecsta 4X or the General G-MAX AS-03. I assume both are available in your size.

The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus would be my first choice if money was no object.

summer tires are probably better in rain than all-seasons.

^^Rain competency depends on which summer tire you're talking about. I'm using the General AS-03 all-seasons on my G37xS and have been impressed so far.

There have been many threads on tires.. but some say the DWS is a bit soft in the sidewalls. You don't think so? That's about the only reason I have struck it from my list.

My buddy has the dws. They are a fantastic tire, but when it comes to driving aggressively, he says he has more rOll than usual, and that the side walls are soft

I don't think the DWS comes in the stock front size. The OP has an "S". So unless he runs 245-45/18 all around ...

I'd probably get the Mich Sport AS+ like TinsleyC said.

I went from Potenza RE960 to Continental ProContacts DWS to finally the new Yokohama YK580. I would highly recommend the Yokohama YK580. Awesome tires in the dry and wet conditions. You will not be disappointed.

The new YK580 is looking very good though I haven't tried. How is the road noise with the Yokos?

Btw, what size did you go with the DWS on your G?
