Getting ready to purchase a new set of tires for my G and wanted your thoughts. I have pretty much decided on the above tire based on comments and reviews on our forum and on Tirerack.com. But I wanted to see if anyone saw any concerns with fit with 245/40/19 up front and 275/35/19 in the rear on stock sport rims. I know others have this set up but not sure if they do with this tire specifically. Again just wanted to see if there were any cautions before purchasing these tires. Thanks for your input!!

BTW Just spoke to Tirerack.com directly to ask the same question and they said they would not recommend 275/35/19 in the rear for any make of tire.... ? Any thoughts? Are they being conservative?

 

That tire size combo will work fine, many here using it with good results. The difference in tire models isn't enough to make the Generals rub vs. say a Michelin in the same sizes.

Not all the reps here have as big a background in this car as I do. I can assure you it will be fine on the car and oem wheels. If you do a search for that combo you'll find many many people using them.
