Angry JACKED! RIMS & TIRES...Houston, TX

So, I woke up this morning and my car was jacked! ALL tires and rims were gone. I'm not sure if wheel locks were present b/c i couldn't locate a key in the first aid kit, nor the pouch containing the manual. WTF?! Is this what's hot in the streets? Infiniti stock/factory rims?? I guess...I filed my police report and insurance claim upon discovery. I do have comprehensive insurance so I'm not too worried, but will they really give you 5 RACKS to replace tires and rims? The Infiniti Parts rep told me sometimes the ins. co. will try to get you refurbished rims, but new tires. This blows!

Pisses me off every time I see it. Don't let the insurance company screw you man, demand the money for new wheels and tires.

Yes, OEM G37 wheels are very frequently stolen. Houston's not the worst place for it (NY/NJ) but its pretty bad here. Yours are the first I've heard of in a while. Be tough with your insurance company and demand payment for the cost of brand new wheels and tires. Then take the money and buy a good set of aftermarket wheels.

Makes me glad I have a garage every time I see it.

Totally messed up though. It's like the line in Pulp Fiction - "it'd be worth them doing it, just so I could catch them doing it"

Sorry to see that, if you have garage availability, it might not be a bad idea. You sleep better knowing no one can get at your ride.

This kills me to see. Lee also posted a photo of his buddies 350z w/ his WORK wheels stolen. Always be aware of where you are, and where you're leaving your car.

Sorry to see this man, hope they didn't do any damage to the actual car in the process. Take the insurance payout and put it towards a wheel/tire upgrade. Don't fall for the refurbed used wheels trick.

Wow.. I'm sorry bro hopefully everything turns out well. I checked a while ago that my rims don't have wheel locks.. Infiniti should really provide that for all their cars.

Sorry that happened to you. I d get a quote direct from the dealership for wheel and tires and use that as leverage if the insurance tries to cheapen out on you. I'd also recommend having a bodyshop check out the bottom of your car for any damage once you get rolling again.
