My G37 was used not brand new. Hence, not wanting to pay an additional $100/MONTHLY for a garage. Now, if I got my G brand new then of course the extra money shouldn't be an issue. But the fact I got it used should shed some light on why $100/monthly doesn't fit in my budget. If you drive a G and YOU can afford to pay the extra $100/monthly then PLEASE let me give you my Paypal information!!!! Thank you.

PEOPLE SHOULDN'T BE STEALING CHIT FROM OTHERS END OF STORY!! Stop bringing up other determinate like garages; that determine thief/thieves can just easily break into the garage and jack yo chit in a discrete area

that is all...

And living in an apartment complex has nothing to do with being poor. It is not uncommon to own a nice car and still live in an apartment.
Apparently your reading skills aren't so great nor can you detect sarcasm. When I said "yea he is real poor" that was sarcasm my friend. Here's how sarcasm works. He bought a 50k car, so he must not be poor because poor people can't afford 50k cars, thus I said "yea he is real poor". Tell me where in my post I said "aftermarket". Bottom line, if you are going to buy a 50k car, get at least a garage you CAN afford it.
Thanks for playing though!

So, to sum it up, gbreeze is just saying what many others have said about the need for a garage to protect your ride, your wheels etc. gbreeze simply mentions the high replacement cost of the STOCK wheels at 5G's Perhaps you misunderstood HIM.
IMO, I also agree, that if you're diligent, you'll make sure to protect your car by parking it in a garage. Yes, lot's of nice apartments etc. DO NOT have garages available. If you live in one of these, you may want to drive a car that will not be likely to be tampered with, OR you may want to risk having this happen, it's your choice and your consequences, happy motoring.

this....thank u...

Stop arguing in this thread. If you have something to add but can't be civil, GTFO.

Pretty sure no one here dished out 50k in cash .. Which makes that point sort of irrelevant. Everyone has their own situation to account for. Judging by if he has a garage or not and saying "you should this and that" is stupid.

Thanks for the referral. Sal was very knowledgable and helpful. I feel very confident about working with him. The insurance adjuster went out today so hopefully I'll be back rolling by Friday.

Cool. I'd never refer you to anywhere that isn't top notch or that I haven't/wouldn't use myself.

Best of luck.

This was breaking news this morning! I hope they were the bastards who stole my set!

Authorities capture rim, tire theft suspects in sting operation by KHOU.com staff
khou.com
Posted on November 28, 2011 at 7:40 AMHOUSTON—Four suspects, who may have been on a year and a half-long rim and tire theft spree, were captured during a sting operation in northwest Houston early Monday, according to authorities.
The suspects were caught red-handed in the Westbrook Lakes Subdivision, located off Eldridge at Chimney Sweep, around 3:30 a.m.
Brenham police and Houston police were conducting a rim theft sting and caught four suspects in the act of stealing several sets of tires in the subdivision.
As officers approached, the suspects all fled in three separate vehicles, scattering in different directions.
Police said one suspect in one of the vehicles was apprehended on Highway 290 at FM 529; another suspect in the second vehicle surrendered on Marlborough at Larknolls; and two suspects bailed out of the third vehicle at a La Quinta Inn on West 34th Street at Highway 290. One was caught almost immediately, and the second was caught after a short search at a nearby complex.
Police said the suspects may be connected to hundreds of theft within the last 18 months.

I hope that it's them. Even if it's not, good news that at least one gang of these punks got caught, hopefully they do some real jail time.
