It's a factory option and frankly that doesn't help much. People jacking these usually have a key. Lots of people have posted about their misfortune in the past and they had the wheel locks.

WTF!!! Sorry to see this happened to ya, I know exact feeling and still do when I got my DC2 GSR jacked from Houston not too long ago that was never recovered. What part of Houston did this happened and place? I pray everyday and hope my wheel locks hold up against these lowlife thieves for the time being until I get out of my apt. complex.

If someone wants your wheels, wheel locks are not going to do much to stop them. There are tools available that will just as easily remove a wheel lock as sockets do a standard lug nut.

If you got fancy wheels, be considerate of where you're parking. Maybe some sort of motion or movement sensor for the alarm might help too. This should at least keep the amateurs away.

What area of Houston did this happen in?

I'll definitely try to be on the lookout for a new set of OEM G37 wheels that pops up on CL or on any of the local Houston / Texas forums.

Yes, I already knew this, wheel locks will not stop a thief from getting what they came for. Just saying it will at least slow them down enough where someone will notice it and cal the police or somewhat have the thief lose interest if locks of jacking them as to someone that doesn't have locks. Purchased the Clifford 590.2X 2way pager solely for this purpose to alert me if my G37 is being tempered with but I haven't gotten around installing it.

I do park in the area where I see deemed safest (front near with 24/7 gate guard) but I can't always because the complex is open parking or pay $60 a month for assigned

pray for me people so I won't be victimized twice!!

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a garage.

Funny this happens to you, right on the heels of a conversation I had with an INFINITI sales manager. He told me that wheel locks weren't worth the hassle of possibly losing the key, especially when stealing wheels isn't common these days. Sorry this had to happen to you, but make sure you come back on the scene with some sick wheels!

Same thing happened to my boy two weeks after he got his G. Decent neighborhood and all, he found it sitting on bricks on the way to work (no wheel locks). Cop said it usually happens on a rainy day because not a lot of people roam the streets (Brooklyn). Anyway, wheel locks is good practice regardless.

I guess...I filed my police report and insurance claim upon discovery. I do have comprehensive insurance so I'm not too worried, but will they really give you 5 RACKS to replace tires and rims? The Infiniti Parts rep told me sometimes the ins. co. will try to get you refurbished rims, but new tires. This blows!

Argh, pains me to see this. Sorry to hear, bro. However, remember that every cloud has a silver lining. Now you can get new Volks!!!
