OEM 19 Sport Rims for G37X Coupe
Hi
I'm trying to install OEM 19 sport rims for G37X coupe.
I'm trying to find out the correct size of the tire that would not interrupt the AWD system since these rims are staggered.
The front is 19/8.5/43 and I'm thinking of running 225/40/19(Diameter 663mm)
The rear is 19/9/45 and I'm thinking of running 245/35/19(Diameter 655mm)
Will this setup be OK?
Please I need advises from all of you X owners.

I literally just got a set of 19" OEM sport wheels to run on my 2009 G37X coupe. Chose to run 245/40/19 front/rear Continental DWS. As long as you stick with the same tire size you will be fine and will generally have better traction in adverse conditions instead of going staggered.

I'd try to swap out the rims for the 19" non-staggered xS rims. Even though you can mount the same size tire, it's still putting extra stress on the AWD system, plus you won't be able to rotate, which further adds stress, as the fronts wear quicker than the rear. You'd be using rims that are not intended for use with your car, and to compensate, you're mounting tires sizes not best suited for both size rims. Two wrongs don't make a right. It's not worth putting rims on your car that are going to cause excessive wear on your drivetrain. It probably will void your drivetrain warranty as well. I'd much rather keep the 18's, than go with staggered 19's. I've driven Subies for the last decade and a half, and have purchased countless sets of tires for AWD vehicles. I wouldn't even consider running the staggered rims. One other good thing about AWD, is that if you purchase road hazard with most tire shops, if one tire fails, they usually will replace the whole set.
