Lexus oem TPMS in G37?

I have a set of wheels that have the TPMS from LEXUS, but i want to put these wheels on my g37 coupe. If i have to unmount and mount all 8 wheels.. its gon cost a lot of money.

So im wondering if i can just keep the lexus tpms.. any suggestions would be appreciated!

Here's your solution
1. Get some painters tape and a black sharpie
2. Cut a small piece that is big enough to cover the light
3. Color the blue painters tape with sharpie THEN apply over tpms light.

Or just ignore the light, it adds character

Big O tires in San Diego charged me $17 per wheel to install the TPMS. $136 for no light and some sanity..... probably worth it.

Dude, why won't you just go and get yourself OEM TPMS from the dealer? What kind of solution is it using either Lexus ones or driving with the light on all the time? Really?

TPMS is nothing really problematic, so just get 'em replaced by OEM G37 ones. That is the unfortunate part of having aftermarket wheels: extra cost.

my friend is a mechanic at lexus and was helping me swap my OEM sensors onto my new wheels. he said they are the same ones that they use at lexus. the brand and model numbers were the same. so my guess would be you wont have a problem using the lexus ones. plus you could call lexus get the part number and cross reference it with infiniti. mostlikely they are the same one.

If it so happens that they are the same sensors that run at the same frequency, you need to reprogram the new sensors with your car. Refer to my thread for instructions:

The sensors on the wheels have to be programed to the same id as your other wheels sensors- which can be done. You can both sets of wheels with same TPSM ids so when you switch rims the car will recognize it.

You have to reprogram the TPMSs to id of other wheel TPMSs, it can be dome but you need TPMSs program tool or need to visit a tire shop .... with all eight wheels or you can buy the TPSM programing tool or do it manually as described in the thread:
https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-for-free.html
which is time consuming (IMHO) - so it depends on cost vs time& effort

Good luck which ever method you use.
