I have the RE760s and I've been really happy! I didn't do the hankooks since I've heard of some ppl complaining of the soft treadwall. I would get the Super Sports also if you could afford it, best performance and decent price in comparison to some others. But I've never been let down by Bridgestone....

One thing about the RE760s and the RE050 is that they are heavy. For our size, each weights about 30lbs vs. other tires in the class like Mich Super Sport (~25lbs), Continental DW (24lbs). I heard weight on the wheels/tires has more noticeable effects then elsewhere in a car.
Would be great if someone explained the reason and its effects. All I see is the heavier, the less mpg efficient. So I'd pick the Mich Super Sport if I stay with staggered setup, or Continental DW/DWS if I do 245-45/18 all around.

The re050a's grip a lot better! The V12's grip like a good all season tire, not too bad but nothing close to Bridgestone. The sidewalk on the v12's is really mushy, which equals better ride but not as good handling. They do however last pretty long for summer tires, but not as long as the Pilor Super Sports. All around the PSS should be the best for this car, the price is cheaper then re050a's yet it grips the same amount.. and on top of that it has a 300 treadwear rating. Very nice tire.

But that doesn't seem to explain why Bridgestone tires are heavier than ones from other manufactures in the same size/class. Or the difference is negligible?
To me 5lbs per corner is a lot!

I think I am getting the Michelin Super Spot after your recommendations and researches.
Hey, one question, I have never dealt with TPMS before. Just changing tires, what's involved? Do they need to be reconnected? Does electronic need to be reset?
Doing some research, seems like just change tire, TPMS should not need reconnect, but would need reset(and this is gonna cause, unless I go with the DIY paperclip way)?

Your TPMS is mounted with the valve stem inside the rim. Changing tires will not affect it whatsoever.
This is what it looks like: http://www.tpmsdirect.com/v/vspfiles...1216-05-2T.jpg

after 15K miles on my original 09' G37S, the OEM Potenza is going bald in the rear!!!!!
15K? Sure as hell I am not gonna get the same ones.
What are my options? Please give me your best recommendation.
Doing some research seems like Hankook Ventus V12 EVO K110 is the winning one...anyone knows if they works fine with the tire pressure sensors?
Any other recommendation?
Thanks, any advice is much appreciated.

OK, a set of Super Sport is on. Not driven enough to feel the differences yet, but one big different is that it doesn't look as good....the profile is just not as aggression as RE050. Oh well...
