@G37NC
okay i know a lot of people have said this...and i hope you noticed...if you have a sport model...the rear wheels are wider than the front..so you cant rotate front to back..and then if they are unidirectional then you cant just swap from side to side.

try the guys up at LKN infiniti...thats there i bought/take mine.

good luck and let us know what happens

I have thoughts of possibly going 245/40's all around after my OE tires wear out. The 245/275 combo is a bit aggressive for my taste, and the hit in mpg is not really something I want to take.

With 245's all around, I should be able to easily rotate F/R (but not side/side).

^ remember, it is not just the tires that are different, it's the wheels too. 8.5" R and 8" F. 245 will probably fit on an 8" rim, but going 245/40 on the 8.5" rim will be undersized. it will work, but you will likely notice that the sidewalls bulge a bit on the 8" rim. turn-in could suffer, and it would look weird on the rear.

^^You're absolutely right about that. In order to keep things matched, I'll need to get a set of stock (if I decide to go that route) rear S wheels. Maybe I'll pick up a set of 19"'s instead. Gotta get the car first and see how happy I am with the ride and/or if I can tolerate an even lower profile tire. Roads in chicago are crap, and some ride comfort is needed.
