tire sizes
#3
Positives:
1. more traction through a larger contact patch(depends on sidewall)
2. looks more aggressive
Negative:
1. worse gas mileage due to more road/tire friction, and overall extra weight
2. possible rubbing on the strut cartridge & wheel well
3. Thrown off camber.
4. hydroplaning is more common/likely (think of a snow shoe)
5. extra cost to replace
did i miss any?

I thought 285 would rub the wheel well and 275 is max you can get without rubbing the wheel well. Then again, maybe the vert is different since I read that in the coupe section.

all good point guys.. it may be harder to lay patches as well. lol.. its hard to spin them now with the stockies without the slip diff. just one side.. wonder if the coupe LSD will fit on the vert.. anyways, Vossen is sending me CV2's to replace the CV1's that were the wrong offset up front so they offered me a really good deal if i decided to keep the CV1"s for my Max. but the rear tires are 285 and i dunno if i wanna run staggered on my FWD car although it does look pretty sweet. very tempting offer but im not sure i wanna blow more doh on a car i had no intention of getting wheels for since it was designated for getting grocerys and old man winter. what do u guys think i should do? wish i was rich, it would make it alot easier. i wonder if the sensors from a G would work with a nissan?
