Hey guys - can someone please let me know if they think this setup will rub? I'm trying to get the tires installed today and the first installer I went to said he doesn't want to risk it!
how bad will it rub? just on hard turns or no matter what. i'm not dropped on anything
well dropping it will help, It wont look right without a drop in my opinion. what are your offsets?? and just like doggy said it is 9.0 and 10.5. Most common set up would be a 245/35 and a 275/30..... or 285/30
You're running tractor tires, run a 245/35 and a 275/30 if
You're not Dropped it probably won't rub but looks hidious cause you're wheels
Poking out, if you hit a hard dip then the rears might rub, on a +25
I wouldn't go more than a 265
what if i just went 265/35/20 in the rear and 235/35/20 up front
i'm not dropping it
If your not dropping it, don't go so aggressive with your offsets. I think CV2s run in a 20x9 +32 and 20x9 +45 or something close to that. That would be your best bet without lowering.
265/35 is a beefy tire, but then 265/30 is an expensive tire. My opinion would be to go 255/35 or 255/30 if you are gonna stretch or 275/30 or 285/30 for a proper fit (These are for the rear). If you are not going to drop there is no need for a stretched tire though. A 245/35R20 is the best bet for the front. Enjoy your 4x4. :P
I hope not..... did you buy them as a set?? or front and then rear?? They should be set in staggared form which the choices are 20x8.5 and 20x10.5 or the normal set up would be 20x9 and 20x10.5 you can also get a 20x11now I think
