General G-MAX AS-03 anyone?

I have these on my sedan (sport coupe 19's staggered 245/40 275/35) for the last 2500 miles. Quiet, good in water, decent handling. It's not as responsive and grippy as a summer tire, but if you're not tracking the car, should be good enough. Great bang for the buck, IMO.

G-Max AS03 are knock-off off the parent companies Continental DWS, I swear you couldn't tell the difference with which tire you were driving on. They are A+ tires, I run all-season for fall, winter, spring, and I had these last season, they are top notch tires, I could not believe the snow traction these things got, and they were quiet and well mannered. But they do have Continentals legendary soft sidewall.
On the other hand this year I'm trying out the new Nitto Motivo in 245 40/275 35, for fall winter spring, I'm mounting them on Monday, we will see how they perform.

Do you happen to have side and rear shots of this setup? I can't decided if I want to go with the standard 225-45 (F) 245-40 (R) setup or the up-sizes you have. The Generals will be year-round tires for me so they may see some light snow. I know the narrower size is better for these conditions but is it worth the sacrifice for the other 360+ days when I don't have to deal with any snow?

G-Max. Great choice.
Went with the G-Max by General tire ..and very happy I did, they look good and handle good and quiet.. I am glad I made that choice….
They replaced the originals that barley lasted 24 K
Front Tires: Dunlop P225/50R18 94V
Rear Tires: Dunlop P245/45R18 96V
The G-Max also have that new lip the extended the tire and places the rim slightly inside to protect the rim if you get too close to the curb.
They grip very nicely and very quiet and the include 40K warranty, so in case you wear them out sooner, they will get pro-rated.
Highly recommend them.

I decided to go with the G-Max's in 245-40-19 F and 275-35-19 rear on my staggered coupe wheels. So far, I'm pretty satisfied though I have only had them for a week. Still offer a good amount of performance but no more of the annoying tramlining that the stock Bridgestones (and presumably all UHP Summers) had. We'll see how they perform with a dusting of snow but if prior experience with other UHP All-Seasons on my 03 G is any indicator, they'll be just fine.

BTK,
I purchased the G Max last fall as I live in Michigan and deal with the winter. I have about 10K-11K miles so far on the tires and put them on my stock rims, and there were not many options with the 19" size.
Overall, I am pleased with the tires for all around, all season work. Last winter they were very good, and the only day I didn't drive the car was when we had about 12"+ of snow overnight, and I didn't want to bottom out the car getting out of the subdivision. Overall, they performed well in the snow - probably better than I expected. We had our share of snow and ice last year, and I have no qualms going into this winter with them.
I was curious how they would perform into the spring and summer. Overall -acceptable. I can't say you won't sacrifice some handling. They do not "stick" to the road like the summer tires, and I can't say they corner with the same feel. I guess I expected a drop off, and that is what I experienced. In a perfect world, I'd rather have a summer set for extreme fun and winter set for safety, but I don't want the inconvenience or expense on a leased vehicle. I am now starting to get a bit of road noise, but nothing too bad. I had a set of Michelin A/S on my previous Volvo C70, and the road noise from them was almost unbearable. So far the G Max has been better.
I would not hesitate to buy them again.

Mine are running great. Yesterday early morning outside Chicago, caught out in a huge downpour, few inches on the roadway. Very little hydroplaning if at all. They are softer in the corners than stock potenzas, but run quieter, and they are speed rated. I have about 2000 miles on them so far, with no issues. I enjoy the less harsh ride with nearly as good performance. (At almost half the price too)
