Why is plasti-dip so cool when everyone does their OEM wheels, grille, etc but not for a relatively cheap set of wheels?

I dunno, but I wouldn't plasti dip anything. I do think its because cv1's you purchase for $2000( rims only) and your oem wheels come with your car, so does your grille. It seems most people plasti dip the oem parts of their car. Not things you purchase for 2k which at the time of purchase you can decide which finish you want....

I say do it... who the F cares what people think. Everybody is saying it's cheap... the fact is, people won't even know that it's PlastiDip unless you tell them or they actually touch the finish. On top of the $$$ you save, you can remove it easily if you want to sell them down the road...

I did my OEM wheels and it's held up for over a year. I could never justify paying $600 for the same effect. Being able to remove it makes it even that much sweeter...
