Wheel Curiosity

Hey guys,

So I have a predicament... I got my car in october right before the season change and its a 2008 G37S. I live in new england so I picked up a pair of snow tires for it and put them on my stock rims. So now I have a set of brand new hankook summer tires laying around and the warm weathers coming. Instead of constantly switching the tires every year, I just want to pick up a new set of wheels to throw the tires on. This means I need to get a set that will match with the fitment of stock tire specs 225/45/19 front and 245/40/19 back. I was looking at the Vertini Hennesseys cause I feel they would match up nicely with my Blue Slate. However, the Hennesseys come with a 8.5 x 19 front rim and 9.5 x 19 rear. The front matches up nice but I wasnt sure if the .5 in. discrepancy in the rear would cause any issue? Also, the offset for the Hennesseys are +35 all around. I wasn't sure if there would be any issues with brake clearance since it is an S model.

Sorry for the big shpeel and if I sound completely idiotical but I am when it comes to this stuff.

Much appreciate any feedback!! Thanks!

there won't be any clearance issues for the rear. not sure about the front although i do a +32 clears just fine. and the .5 inch in width you'll be fine with thesame tires.

You should be fine. For comparison I'm running stock summer tires on 19x9 front and 19x10 rear. Just get proper size tires when you wear those out.

K sounds like I just have to figure out about the front then. Thank! With the tires stretched does it tend to wear faster?
