Question for everyone who has had their wheels stolen

We all know that there have been tons of G's found without their wheels due to scum of the earth wheel thieves. I'm wondering this: has every G that has had wheels stolen been parked at the owners' homes? Has anyone had them stolen while parked at any other location other than at home? I'm just curious.

unfortunately it has been a combination of everything. All robberies have happened in the middle of the night.....mostly happened while being parked on the street infront of or near the owners house......there have been a few cases where the rims were taken from the owners driveway.

one things for sure...the majority of these robberies have happened in the NYC/5 boros area

Right. I'm aware that NYC thieves are more active than most parts of the country when it comes to G wheels. I was just wondering if it had happened to anyone parked somewhere other than home. Like at a ball game or at the movies.

Stealing them from cars parked for the night on the street or in a driveway is a pattern. If that's the only time they're being robbed, then perhaps those of us who park inside the garage at night aren't at much risk.

I don't understand where all the OEM wheels are going that are being stolen...they are pretty stand-out-ish wheels and it's pretty obvious if they are on another car or something...just seems weird that all these wheels are being stolen but aren't reappearing on other rides

mine were gone overnight and parked outside my apartment complex where i park nightly. So he had time to case my car before he took them. It was on a main road too and cops constantly parked across the street which is why i parked closer to the street...oh well

These scum bags are taking wheels anywhere. We have cases where the vehicles have been outside there residence, visiting friends, even out bar hopping. They have all returned to there G35/37 on blocks. I know first hand.

Mine were stolen from my job. (Honda)
I work m-f 9-5 type.
This day it was pouring raining so not many people were out.
They stole whole car and stripped it at some apt complex

I want to know the answer to the question above ^^ ? Also I would not mind putting a second set of diferent locks in there. I know if they want them theyll get them, but at least it will deter some.

What aftermarket locks work with OEM rims? If I get a second set of Infiniti locks, will it use the same key from the 1st set?
