Driver's side tires mounted wrong

So this morning I noticed that both the tires on my driver's side are mounted in the wrong direction. I have a 2011 Journey with 18's, and the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx A/S are directional (they have the D> indication), and it looks like they mounted 4 of the exact same tire. I've notice my car seems to drift a little bit (poor tracking) at speed, and the other night I was hydroplaning like crazy in just a little bit of rain. Has anyone else noticed this?

I called the dealer and told them, and basically that they need to replace the 2 tires in question. I'm wondering if I should make them replace all 4. This is pretty bushleague if you ask me.

John

Why would they change the back ones?

I think the D> indication is the Dunlop logo.

Do you mean this? I really hope you don't becuase that's the Dunlop logo.

Directional tires usually say "Rotation" with an arrow to indicate the direction of rotation.

The all season Sport Maxx are NOT directional. What you should do is call up your dealership and apologize for your noobness.

Lol at this thread! We all make mistakes, but I fault the dealer for listening to you, haha.

If Dunlop really wants to mess with people, they should randomly print their logo on the sidewall in either direction.

Uhhhh... yeah. It's the logo. Frickin Dunlop. So much for my knowledge of cars/tires. I think I'll cancel my appointment in the morning.
