Stretched Tires and Traction

Need some advice, so chime in.

Tires: Hankook Ventus V12
Front: 235/30/20 w/ +20 offset
Rear: 255/30/20 w/ +25 offset

I'm having serious traction issues. I like the stretched look, but I'm pretty sure that's a big part of the problem. Barely half throttle from a dead stop turning a corner and sideways I go. It's pretty annoying.

Any solutions? New tires are obvious, but recommendations would be nice. Cost not really an issue if that helps at all. Many thanks.

Camber from the naked eye, looks to be fine. There's no noticeable negative camber. I'm dropped on the Eibach Pro Kit.

So, did you do an alignment after your drop and wheels? You can never tell by the naked eye how much it is cambered in.

Alignment was done after the drop. Never noticed any issues with the stock wheels and the drop without an alignment. The moment I put the wheels on, traction became an issue.

Did you go from 19's to 20's? If so, that might slightly affect your alignment and possibly throw off your toe.

Stretched tires are known to have traction issues, I had first hand experience with it also.
I would get another alignment just to be sure.

if you're stretched, not as much rubber will be on the ground, but honestly w/ those specs you should be fine.

You've gotta be off on your toe to be causing you to be slipping.

Imo, as long as your camber is straight and toe in spec you shouldn't have that much issues with traction.

^ I see some in that picture as well. I'm going to get another alignment and see if that helps today. Many thanks for the replies.

#1 reason... Virginia......winter......

COLD ROAD/TIRES, SALT, SAND, ETC.

Enjoy the ride. When it gets warm you'll be unhappy cause they stick too good.

^+1 I was getting to that.

Cold Road + Cold Tires + Sport Tires = no traction.
