Okay... I finally brought back the 4 CV1 wheel/tires back to my place.... Just FYI the 4 boxes just barely fit in an EX35... with the seat down..(had a passenger) Pretty sure in the box I can probably only fit 2 in a sedan... maybe a 3rd in the passenger..
Now I only have the stock emergency jack, should I attempt to mount them, or bring them to the store to have them mounted + springs installed?
Also how do I not scratch my new muteki lugs? I heard some say put masking tape, while others say get a sleeved lug? But the sleeve lug only is sleeved on the outside? I also only have a 18point lug instead of 6 point , I guess the 18 point will cause more scratches?
Should I not worry as the shop that will install my springs will still have to remove the lugs and they will prob scratch it? Or should I go buy the proper sleeve 6 point lugs?
Take to a shop and have them install and mount it all. Also tape up the area where lugs will be mounted just in case they torque down improper and dare to scratch the wheels! This happens when shops get careless when torquing down wheels.
