Diego,

Looks like I am going to trade in the vert and go with a 2013 G37 Sedan. I love the CV3's, but not crazy about the concave look. Could I run 20x9's all the way around? It will have the sport package. Not sure if I am going to drop it yet. Assume that I am not. What offsets could I go with and are there any pics? Saw a few with 20x10.5 all around but none with 20x9.

TIA

Matt

I just hope the car won't look like its sitting too high. I'm dropped on eibach pro kit. Are the tein h-tech springs lower than eibach pro kit?
couldn't agree more. part of me wishes the cv3 came polished but with the chrome on our cars, i felt on the PG the matte silver would pop just enough for it to flow right. yes, the h-techs are lower than the eibach pro kit so if you want a quick reference, look at the pictures from a few pages back of my car before i threw the coils on and you can get an idea of what your car would look like, just a little bit higher

GotAir - Are you able to post up a few more photos showing how much your rims stick past the guards? Cops can fine us in my state if the rims stick out past the guards.. it's supposed to be for safety but really just seems like revenue raising. I like the look of the dual dish +25, 20"x10.5" rims but think that they might stick out that little too much, mainly the fronts I'm guessing I'd say I will have to go for the standard staggered look of the 20"x9" & 20"x10.5" +32/+45. Which still looks good just not as much concave.

Diego - What is the offset of the PG above with the CV7's are they +25 or +15 offset? From the angle of the rear tyre I'm assuming +15.
I've sent you a PM, if you get time could you check it out regarding distributors in AUS?
id be more than happy to take some more pictures for you to show you how it sits on the car. i dont quite understand by what you mean by guards but i think i have an idea, i'll take some pictures how the fitment and side angles tomorrow for you during the day

Do you know the difference in drop between eibach pk and tein h?

I looked into tein s and they look wayy too low for my taste.

I think eibach is 1.5" font and 1" rear. What are those h techs? In those pics were they fully settled yet?

LOL, Guards = Fender = wheel arch.. stupid English language having different meanings for the same things globally It's just how much the rims/wheels stick out from the body of the car. Any photos you can post up would be great, thanks GotAir!

I just found out I won the Japanese auction on a K57 (AG) 370GT SP (G37S) today with sunroof and black/dark interior so that's a great start. Need to figure out what to do with my old R33 Skyline now.. don't really want to sell it after 7 years of good service

20x9 +32 F&R would be your best bet for that setup.

Eibach's are 1.2" in front and .8" in rear whereas H-techs are 1.5" in front and 1.2" in rear. the last pictures i posted (where i was behind the shopping center) is the springs fully settled, but on the 20" vossen rims not the 19" stocks.

The car isn't currently aligned so the rears may become a little flush when i get the camber kit in and get the car aligned but thats what it looks like now unaligned.

Thanks Diego. I just a starting point. I may not roll that low but seeing that this isn't my daily I may just do it.

Thanks for the close up photos GotAir! You got the all the descriptions for driver/passenger around the wrong way but apart from that, top notch :P

I think that they might be sticking out that little bit too much for me to get away with, especially if camber correction tips the tops further out.

I wish these were available in just slightly different offsets.. then again there are no offsets mentioned on the Vossen website that I can see so maybe there are some other options that work? I know we have the staggered 'standard' setup (20x9 +32 & 20x10.5" +45) and the dual concave (20x10.5" +25 or +15) options. Has anyone tried 20x10" +25 all round? I can't recall seeing any posts in here with this. I'm thinking that this might just fit that little bit more flush with the fenders but still have the dual concave look. You wouldn't have to stretch the tyres so much either. This option might not clear the calipers?

This my CV3 setup with tire and BBK upgrade all done by 180Custom NYC. I am very happy with the look. This is a picture by 180Custom NYC, I'll take more pictures myself when I have chance.

Questions:
* I felt the ride quality has been degraded due to low profile tires(plus my Swift spring & sway). Is there anything I can do to improve it? Will coilover help? I was driving home from NYC last night, overall the road felt so horrible. I also bottom out on a manhole that made a huge pop sound that I seriously thought the whole engine felt out. I found out later the manhole had cut open a hole under the engine plate.

* How many of you don't do alignment at all and just leave the little camber that came with the aftermarket springs? Or if I want camber I have to get camber kits in order to dial in precise settings.
