Lease Return Tread Depth

I have to return my G37s Coupe with the optional summer tires at 39,000 miles. Right now I'm at 19,000 and my tires are almost bald. Really not looking forward to putting on a set now, and another right before I return it (or get charged for it after I return it) I can't find where it states what the tread depth needs to be. Does anyone know what this number is or where it can be found? Is it prorated at all?

Also, what do they do about a curb rash on the rim? Thanks for all the help.

4/32".

Curb rash may be charged for, depending on how bad it is.

If it makes you feel any better, the OEM tires are known to be pretty bad on the tread life side. If you choose wisely, you might make it on the next set of tires.

Here's what is available on the Infiniti website:

normal Wear and Use
• Tires with a 1⁄8" tread depth or greater at the minimum-thickness point

Excessive Wear and Use
• Tires with less than a 1⁄8" tread depth at minimum-thickness point
• Tires with sidewall damage (cut, bulges, cracks, etc.)
• Tires with plugged repairs are not allowed
• Any tire not part of a matching set
• Any tire that does not match vehicle’s original tire type, quality, size and rating is not allowed

It only took about 15 second on the InfinitiUSA site to find this:

Good luck
