Stock tires and snow anyone?

yeah ... i had stock tires on and got caught last year in south carolina when a big snow hit. zero "0" traction .. almost went off the road several times. i got stuck and had to be pushed out a lot.... bring a set of snow chains or snow cables just in case LOL

I've driven in snow with the stock 19's. Wouldn't want to do it every day but it wasn't that bad. The traction control does a pretty good job at keeping you on the road so you really just have to worry about getting stuck.

What I would worry about is STOPPING. You won't stop nearly as well as with snow tires or even a good all season. The stock 19's are like greased up hockey pucks.
I'm putting on Continental DWS all seasons myself. We get snow, but the plows are good and quick. Also I hate the stock tires. I thought about going snow tires, but after driving through everything they had last year in a S2000 I'm not too worried about it

Thanks for all the reviews. I know its a diiferent driving but I had my maxima with Advan Parada Sports all winter and they were handling better than many All-seasons. I have never got stuck and was driving through storms and everything.. And I know its a front wheel drive lol, just how much difference it makes..

I just had Xi2s and cheap 18x8 put on a few minutes ago. Hopefully they do well tomorrow since we are expected to finally get some crappy temps/weather.
