Slammed Gs with alignment within specs possible?...

Ok, this is for the slammed or very low Gs out there. I want to know if you guys where able to get your alignment such as your rear alignment back in to stock spec range with a SPL or even SPC rear camber/Toe kit?

I took my car supposedly to a very reputable shop called "Alignment Factory" and I will tell you I got an ear load form the guy about our Gs not needing rear camber kits etc and that he couldn't with my SPL rear camber kit (with TOE kit) get the camber fixed without messing up toe. I was confused and I explained 5 times to him I have the TOE kit. He told me doesn't matter and cant fix it. So I left there with the following:

CAMBER STOCK - G37S
-----------------------------------------------------------
FRONT = normal: -0.42 (Min = -1.17 to Max = 0.33)
REAR = normal: -1.33 (Min = -1.83 to Max = -0.83)

Camber Result After:
FL= -.9
FR= -1.1
RL= -2.0
RR= -2.1

The fronts are not in spec but closer than the rears which just pissed me off! Please post your alignment numbers in the format above. I would like to show him this post after I go back and complain.

PS: He never touched the rears at all. The camber settings on rear are from when I had Eibach Pro springs and dealership adjusted.

Also...
My Ride Height:
front - ground to center fender lip: 25" 3/4
rear - ground to center fender lip: 26"

Are those specs just camber not toe? Depending on your ride height & wheel offsets you should be able to bring the toe back within oem spec.

But you will not be able to bring camber back within spec.

If those are your camber specs then you should be pretty good. Just make sure your toe is set to or near 0.

^^ Those are Camber. Yeah I understand as low as the car is if you increase camber, the toe turns inward. I assumed that the TOE kit I have would of helped blance this out a bit. Bu the dude at shop was like; "camber kit is a waste of money" He even said about geting a class action lawsuit against SPL & SPC... I was like WTH is this guy talking about lol!

Thanks!

I still believe the guy who did my alignment could do a lil more better...the rear spec is pretty good. the front -1.5 is that what our car supposed be at. (after lowered) even the factory alignment still pretty aggressive setting.

NP at all man! your Front Camber is looking good more within OEM spec, But the rear Camber I believe the guy can do better than that. especially you had F+R camber kits. As far u concerns is the toes right? camber dont wear out ur tires, Toes does. some one please correct me if i am wrong. go to ahh diff alignment shop.
Take mine alignment spec sheets with u if u needed lol

Wait...so he actually DID an allignment for you? Or did he just say F*ck it, I can't do anything?

If he did an allignment, he 100% should have given you a print out of every degree detail. Our cars as long as they're withing -2.5 camber you're okay because its natural to have neg camber, but you're TOE should almost DEAD ON!

Camber kits a waste of $$?? And this is a reputable shop? wtf?

I'll measure everything and update this thread bud when I get home. I'm having FRONT & REAR camber kits as well as an alligment done within the next week or so. I've been updating my other thread in this forum too so people can reference to it when need be.

i've seen shops that are able to bring our cars to stock spec alignment WITHOUT front or rear camber kits. What they do is port the front and rear arms for adjustment, and do the same for the toe.
