Race cars and planes use nitrogen in their tires not for temperature reasons but for safety reasons. In case of a fire you don't want a compressed flammable gas nearby. Since nitrogen is inert if there's a tire and the tire does burst it will not feed the fire as air would since air contains oxygen.
Yes.....you are right but missing the impact of moisture in air filled tires.

COLOR="Red"]moisture in the air filled tires [/COLOR]has major impact on the tire pressure as temp changes. Nitrogen filled tires are lot more pressure stable as there's no moisture.

Nitrogen is good for all tires. Nitrogen filled tires provide safety, less pressure variance (contributed by moisture) and better life of the tire.

Costco/SAM's provide free service to it's members to fill the tires with nitrogen.

Yeah if you get it free why not. Paying for nitrogen is silly.

You can easily remove moisture from if there's a water filter on the compressor. Most gas stations won't have that but if you have a shop compressor at home it probably will.

Hi there, so far I'm enjoying my new g37s conv. here in miami. Question though, what's the right tire pressure for these 19" wheels? Also, is there a tire pressure monitoring on dash like with Nissan? I have touched all controls possible with no success. Thanks for your help.
