Horseshoe Light On Dash?

so this light came on about 3 days ago it is an exclamation point inside of what looks like a horseshoe right under the RPM tack. Does anyone know what it is?

Changes in tire pressure from a countless number of things. A dealer may/may not try to sell you on nitrogen but I would consider this option if you're constantly having this light go on and off.

I put nitrogen in mine now and air pressure stays rock steady.

The air we breathe is 80% nitrogen.

Race cars and airplanes use pure nitrogen for flammability reasons. "Regular air" has oxygen in it and so a pressurized source of oxygen would be a fire hazard, especially in an enclosed space like a landing gear well.

One of your TPM is detecting a pressure change significant enough to trigger the light. It may just be a faulty unit. I've had my car for over two years and have never seen it light up.

If you put air in the tire to spec and the light goes away, it isn't a faulty unit. Air pressures go down significantly with use (heat = increased pressure) and air temperature (colder overnight = lower air pressure). I've seen them vary as much as 5-6 psi. It's reasonable to assume that the light will go out after you drive on them and the pressure comes up, unless they're more than 5-6 pounds low.

Faulty TMPS sensors are indicated by the low tire pressure warning light flashing for about a minute after the car is started, followed by the light remaining illuminated.

It's important to note that the TPMS means that the tire is significantly underinflated. Not having that light on doesn't mean your tires are at spec pressure, it just means they're not ridiculously low yet.

When I had my G...it would come on the morning during the "winter" .. if that is what you call it here in San Antonio. It would usually turn off during the drive to work. Never did it during the summer times though.

Tire pressures vary by temperature. As nighttime temperatures drop with the seasonal change you can lose a few psi in your tires.
