what do you think about: stern st-2 black wheels w/ White lip on a G37x coupe?

Hey Guys, Im on a budget and want to get some wheels. I have been researching and came accorss the 20" Stern ST-2 wheels (non staggered) to fit my G37X model. They are fairly cheap, compared to other brands. I see that Stern had been out for many years, and that it is a reputabe company. Has anyone had any of their wheels on their G? Any comments/opinion would be appreciated.

The wheels are black, and the shop is painting the lip moonlight white, with tires, and lug nuts, $1100 SHIPPED.

Here is the ebay link to wheels:

I had the non-staggered Stern ST-2 in chrome on my Acura TL. Sold them before trying them on the G. Its a good, strong wheel, however they are heavy as hell.

Pic of them on my TL:

Gorgeous wheels! I was going to do the same thing to my black rims, paint the lip moonlight white to match the paint, but unfortunately i live in Miami, and my roads and highways are horrible, so i know eventually a rocks will chip the paint off one hit at a time, and repainting the wheels will be a hassle & pricey. But best of luck with your idea and hope it comes out sick.

I took your advice and probably wont paint the lip. I know if i get rock chips, it will annoy the hell out of me and i really dotn want to go through the hassle of repainting it all the time, plus when i decide to sell them , it will be easier to find a buyer.

You could always have the lip powdercoated, which is stronger than paint
