Best looking wheel finish on graphite shadow?

I'm looking for everyone's opinion on what would be the best looking wheel color on a graphite shadow coupe? Assuming you could get the wheels custom painted. Specific wheels would be nice, but also just looking for general suggestions on what color combination would look best?

I was thinking the same thing guys. Maybe with a TA stripe in white/silver to give some contrast. Wouldn't do a polished lip, I think that's pretty played out by this point.

So is a matte-black powder coat as durable as say a gloss or semi-gloss? I ask this bc I've heard that matte paint jobs are impossible to keep clean. It would make sense to put a non-gloss clear over the wheel after the powder coating.

Flat black hides dirt very well but you'd just need to make sure there's no water spots. Wipe it dry right after you wash each wheel because once water spots dried on there, it's really hard to remove. Not sure if glossy has the same problem. But you can not wash flat black for a while and it'll still look clean. As for durability, I would think it's the same. A coating is a coating, whether it'd be flat black or clear coat.

Here's my played out wheels.

FLAT BLACK!!
UCLA'S car looks effin sick! But to comment on his statement, my wheels are semi-gloss, and even then water tends to dry up quickly. If I dont wash my wheels one by one, damn water marks will stay there.

Flat black is a good color but it's definitely a b!tch to keep clean. That's one of the reasons I got rid of my previous wheels. If u don't mind spending some good amount of time cleaning ur ride then go for the flat black wheels. I would say go with gloss black, as ucla bruin said it's easier to keep clean.

Bump,

Anyone with Matte Black/Black single tone wheels on Graphite Shadow? Or Gunmetal?

Graphite Shadow is a tough color to match wheels to.
