What do you guys think about the

Volk GT-30 Phantom Black (Matte Lip and Wheel)

20x8.5 front (+35) and 20x9.5 rear (+37) with Yoko S-Drive tires 245/35 and 275/30

On a non sport Black G37 with Eibach?

I really want Vossen 082s, but I might be able to get a better deal on the Volks...

Just a few concerns

1) The colour contrast won't be there since the wheel is entirely matte black...and my car is OB
2) I don't have sport brakes and these wheels really show off the rotors/calipers
3) Any rubbing issues with the offset/tire choice?
4) I have not seen any pictures of a BO G37 Coupe with this colour scheme, seems to make more sense on a White G37

The volks are MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the Vossen 082's. I got offended when you said you preferred the 82's over the GT 30's..

even look wise, volks are hands down sexier!

 

usually everyone who buys the gt-30s go for 9.5f and 10.5 rear.
with your setup the lip will be less. IMO i dont think it will look good on your car cause of the all matt black color. formula silver volks look best on black g37

 

Obviously you are worried about looks! In that case go w Vossens not cause I'm biased but the contrast w blk wheels on blk Coupe just don't flow! Not trying to steer you toward vossen because if Volks where a diff finish I would say go for Volks if you can get a sick deal. Now as far as rubbing , you are not gonna have issues especially on Eibachs , you can even go 285/30/20 w that offset and still be ok. GL man but I never liked blk wheels on blk coupe ! However it's your car your Choice, since your asking our opinions Vossen 82s gonna sit way nicer especially W 20X9 and 20X10.5 rears. If you like to track your car go w Volks , Wanna look good Vossen FTW!!!

These look nicer ! 82s w silver lip and blk machined is a similar look w silver and blk face .

 

No way to compare GT30s with Vossen.

GT30 > any Vossen all day any day.

Unfortunately it comes down to a budget thing,

Since I'm in canada if i get these volks which are in mint condition they will be like $2500, vs getting new 082s $3300

 

I think there is a guy selling some 082s on here in the classified's for $2,000.

 

Yea... but after paypal duty + paypal conversion duty + cross border taxes it becomes like $2700+

 

Can't go wrong, with the Volks!
