Eibach springs with stock 18" rims
I'm currently debating whether to lower my car with Eibach springs while sticking with my OEM rim/tires.
The only reason I'm considering the drop is for looks alone since I'm pretty satisfied with the car's handling.
I've read mixed review about the ride of the car after installing springs; I need some honest answers from Sedan owners who lowered their cars with springs and are riding on 18" rims.
How is the ride compared to stock?
Is the harshness noticeable?
Is there more bounciness on the freeway?
When traveling over poor pavements, does it shimmer badly?
Do you regret lowering your car?

I'm doing just that, lowering w/eibachs and sticking with stock wheels. kkokko is right though, your wheels will look tucked in once you lower it. I'm also adding 20mm spacers to fix that. Hopefully next weekend I can post pics and a review. I also had the same worries as you,'but everything I read said that the ride will feel almost the same as stock.

Actually I already switched to 18" 350z wheels (+30 offset) which are totally flush with the fenders. I would like to hear more feedback about the ride with Eibach springs.

Front Alignment:
OE Camber = -0.35 (+/-0.75 deg)
OE Caster = 4.0 (+/-0.75 deg)
OE Toe = 0.04 (+/-0.04 deg)
PK Camber = -1.7 deg
PK Caster = 4.7 deg
PK Toe = 0.04 PRO-KIT will require PRO-ALIGNMENT kit 5.72130K installed to adjust alignment to OE specification.
Rear Alignment:
OE Camber = -0.25 (+/-0.55 deg)
OE Toe = 0.11 (+/-0.11 deg)
PK Camber = -1.7 deg
PK Toe = 0.11 deg
PRO-KIT will require PRO-ALIGNMENT kit 5.72265K or 5.72260K installed to adjust alignment to OE specification.

Thanks! I dont know much about camber/toe/etc With a camber of -1.7, how bad will the uneven tire wear be? Is -1.7 horrible? It says the OE camber is -.25 +/-.55? Does that mean it can be anywhere from +.30 to -.80?

I did this same thing and reverted back within 1-2 days. It just didn't look right unless I went with larger wheels.
Also, a major concern was curbs and parking. With a lowered suspension and stock wheels, the front bumper would easily smack directly into the parking curb unless you're very careful. Even if you hit the bumper on a curb once, it'll be a horrible hit.
Ride wise, it was fine. If I were to do it though, I'd go with the 19" OEM wheels and camber kit at front and back. My alignment numbers showed that the car needed camber kits after lowering.
