Is there a reason why you're running 19x9 all around? Are you an X?

Did you fix your wheels? Were they bent in the process?

By having the front 245 and the rear 275 with the OEM Enkei, can you save yourself from curb damage, as their is more rubbing out, so the rubber will be the first point of contact if you slowly hit a curb? ? ? ? ?

So your looking for a brand of tires that are going to help prevent damage when you hit a curb? How about just not hitting them?

I know, I know. I have 11,500 miles on my car not one curb, but since i'm going to change it to that size because it fit the oem wheels, i thought I ask!

That's 2 funny Stoof. No really, with the Stock OEM 19' enkeis for the Sport model, by putting the 245/275 does it help a little, or safe you a little if you were to hit a curb slowly, like parking? ? I guess it will rub a or scrape a little rubber, but not the wheel?

Some tires have a bead that sticks out over the rims edge (example: Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta). I use these tires and a couple months back I pulled up to a gas station next to the curb and it hit my rim enough to move my car 2 inches over. I got out thinking it was f**ed! And guess what. The little tiny rim bead protected it and some of the bead got ripped of the tire but no rim damage whatsoever!

Also like posted above a wider tire will stick out (vs Stretched tire) and will protect your rim better.

If you have low profile tires like most lowered cars here do (35/30 aspect ratio) You need tires with a rim bead for protection.

Now for rim repair. Most shops will f**k up your rim repairing it. Been there done that in my past a few times. Yes it will look better at a distance. But it will never be near what it was once. For me I'm very annal about my car, so I just bought a replacement rim instead.

LOL Stoof! get those curb feelers! LOL!!

I plan getting the correct size for the oem 19"ENKEI 245/40/19 front and for the back 275/35/19. What are good tires/ I thought by now all tires have come with rim bead for protection.

theoretically yes, the tire will be the first point of contact when you hit a curb but it depends on the angle in which you hit the curb. the best thing obviously is to make sure you never hit one.
there are a ton of tire brands out there marcelo. it depends on what you are looking for ie all season or summer and how much you are willing to spend. for example if you are looking at really sticky summer tire that is in the range of 275-300/ tire then Michelin Pilot Sport 2's will fit the bill quite nicely.
and OP. im really sorry about those Advans. it makes me sad seeing such nice wheels getting dinged up
