My 08 had both front rotors warped after first year. Bad shake when braking from highway speed.
Replaced (not re surfaced) both front rotors and pads under warranty.
1 year later, same problem. The again replaced rotors and changed front pads. At that time there was a TSB so they also changed the backing plate. The new one has slots to allow more air flow, less heat bulidup, and less warping.
I hope. I'll let you know next year. Oh wait lease is up next year so maybe I won't know. In any event car drives like new again. I have found warped rotors also cause roughness in general driving, not just braking. Unless I am insane and just imagining things..

Yes free of charge, the added a car wash as well
Yea the guy said he told them to put a new rotor in even though infiniti says to resurface it(Said he did me a favor). But when i saw the work order, it said the rotor was thinner than the min width so they had to replace it. IDK if they made it up to put new rotors or if it was true.

Sorry for this but I gotta vent a little bit on here.
So I just got my car back. All 4 rotors resurfaced, no pads, no baffles. Apparently my NMC code wasn't on the list in the tsb, so my brakes were properly vented according to the dealer. But all 4 rotors were warped and dealer said they hadn't seen rotors warped that badly at 11k miles. So now I have rotors with less life than before I took them in, and they will continue to warp because whatever caused them to warp wasn't fixed. At some point I will probably have to take the car in again for the same problem, I can't wait.
Rant aside, are the sport brakes also affected by the warping issue? I have a non sport and will consider buying the sport brakes if it means I won't have to deal with this issue anymore.

The Akebono brakes aren't much better IMO. I came from Brembos on my G and the Akebonos suck compared to them. You can upgrade your rotors and get better pads or get a different BBK than the Akebonos.
