Which Vossen's should I go with, with my OB 08' Coupe?

Vossen 082's with Black Machine and Black Lip with a Chrome or White Pin Stripe, Vossen 086's Black Machine or Vossen 085's with Black Machine and Black lip, also if I go with 20's, should I get coil-overs? Will these help help my car with a smoother ride or just go with eibachs? I want a smooth ride, not bumpy =/ Thanks in advance for the help

I think the 086's are one of Vossens best designs. I really like the black machined look.

As for coilovers/Eibach...if you get 20's its going to be a bit bumpier than 19's regardless. The only thing you'll see with coilovers is you can adjust ride height. I don't think the ride difference would be that noticeable (someone please correct me if I'm wrong)

I'd say. 086s are the currently the most new and the main model to represent Vossen.
I voted for 082s lol. Not only b/c it is my current set up, but also it supposedly the best looking wheels on the G.
I had 083s, too and they were my favortite that matched my taste.
They all depend on what look you are going for.

083s - CLEAN AND CLASSY LOOK
082s - AGGRESSIVE AND MEANY LOOK
086s - (not sure cuz I haven't had it but) BOTH AGRESSIVE AND CLEAN LOOK
085s - Not so sure but 5 spokes make it look more sporty and racey look (?)

Vossen is reliable and good price for its quaility. Hope you enjoy every moment. Choosing can be stressing but it is fun~.

On OB nothing beats the sportiness of The 86 but in MATT SILVER , I had all three and hands down go with the 86 especially this combo " OB w Matt Silver" you will love it . Exactly as Josh Stated
83-Classy
82-aggressive
86-Very Sporty and Clean
85-simple... But the blk lip and machined pin stripe is cool!
Keep In mind the contrast is what you want and SS lip on Blk cars flows very nice...

I use to realllly like the 086's, but now I think I'm learning more towards the 082's because I personally think they flow a lot better no matter what finish you get, but what about the drop I want to get??!

If you go H&R it's gonna be slammed, Eibachs not low enough , S techs = perfect drop and spc front and rear camber kits are a must and it is still cheaper to go this route but coilovers are always best if you have the extra $$$...82s I had in silver machined and where nice especially offsets at +25 and rear +30!!! prefect offsets w drop = sick looking G

I don't care so much about the drop, I just want a smooth ride. Coil-overs are the same as eibachs in terms of smoothness?

I really can't compare springs to coilovers cause I have had springs for 2 years , but there are many reviews on coilovers and I here great things about KWV3 and most inexpensive are tanabe but a friend had them and said ride was stiff and there is no dampening adjustment w these . KW has this feature wich is great . For me since my shocks are still good I will not jump on Coils just yet.

Xcalibur went from Eibachs to KWV3 and he said it's a world of differene, Eibachs I personally don't care for cause I like it low and eibachs don't deliver a great drop it's very very subtle , like I said if you looking for a smooth ride and want a nice drop and have the extra $$ go w KWV3. Those are next for me...

Eibachs are closer to stock ride comfort and eliminate the need for a camber kit since drop is minimal but up to you how low you want to go , the stance will def make the wheels though it's hit or miss , but vossens look awesome on a lowered G , w eibachs there is still a gap and looks funny.

I have Tein S techs ! There are tonsof pics w S techs and Eibachs both w vossens! Check them both then decide wich you like better , but you comparing a 200$ spring to a 17-1800$ coilovers , just keep that in mind . Tanabe coils Are around 900$ and would get those Over springs Also but no dampning adjusment but still better than springs I would think.
