Tell me something about SSR

Finally saved enough for some wheels... and I'm looking at the Type Fs Or maybe even Type C whichever looks good. I'm dropped in NF210... How would 19x8.5 +20 will work? Maybe with 235 or 245/40/19 tires. Will it be flushed wise or still have some gaps??

Still debating whether the 19s or 18s... anyone care to shine some light?

This is all wrong. Def not 18's. 19's or 20's or dont bother. 8.5" is weak sauce. If you are a coupe you want 9" front and 10.5" rear with those offset or higher.

SSRs are great rims. If you have a coupe, definitely get wider wheels. I had SSR GT7s,19x8.5, 40 offset, 245/40 all around on my 2004 G35x and that was way conservative for a sedan back in 2007. I'm gonna be running a set of rims next month, 19x9 (+35) w/245/40 and 19x10 (+43) w/ 275/35 on my x this time around. Still not aggressive, but closer to flush, as far as I'll go with NYC streets.

Good luck, post pics when you have em.

You can get Type Fs in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 for staggered look.

And Lou@Amplified has em for great prices

I say for pure performance and some good looks go with 19's.

If you just want to be a baller and good looks get 20's.

I wanted 19's origanally, but wound up going with 20's and I'm happy with them.

I need to bump this up...

Things calmed down and I'm ready to buy... The wheels I'm going for are the Type F!!!

One thing though... Would putting stock TPMS will work on the wheel? Or will I have to buy new ones.

Gotcha.. just trying to see if it'll fit. Or any special way to get it working on new wheels. I remember my friend didn't get his on for some reason... something about it won't hold.

it all depends on where the valve stem is located. my tpms didn't fit on my last SSR's. no worries though, you can purchase tpms straps or iforged tpms adapters. either way will work and best thing to do is ask them all these questions before ordering. Lou@amplified is your man to talk to.
