Yep, I'm sold on the V12's. Transformed the car. Rides smoother, Feels better and the car took on a more aggressive stance. No rub issues at all.

After I scrubbed them in I hit one of my favorite roads with a nice left hand, short straight and then a right which can be negotiated at high speed. Threw it hard into the left and at first it felt a little loose and unsettled when car was in entry and the middle of the apex. Hit the next turn the same way but grew a little more ***** and hit the loud pedal harder after my breaking point. The car hooked up and took off.

This is a very smooth 4 mile connector road with numerous ups and downs, tight left and rights along with a nice mix of esses and little traffic. I know this road very well and have driven it hard many times. I will not divulge my speeds but ,lets just say they were well out side of the limit!

I have to say I am very happy with my choice of new shoes. So much so that when the Michelin Pilots wear out on our E350 sport, These are going on.

What were you on previously? I'm about to need to swap out the BS RE050s and was looking for something that will handle well and ride smoother.

The same thing you are running now. Gone @ 21000! Could of probably gotten more but lost the alignment. Actually a good thing because the ride and noise were getting gnarly.

P.S They are way quieter too!

Yeah...I have the same issue...the alignment is out slightly, so I can't go much further on these. Thanks for the feedback and congrats on the smooth ride.

Do you feel the V12s are smoother/quieter than the Re050s when they were new?

With the 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 tire size are spacers required??? I know some people do use them but didn't know if they are required?

Also any decrease in fuel economy with 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 vs stock sizes?

You guys ever see these results by car & driver - v12's come in 2nd place!

SFG37S, I agree, neither did I. Just wondered if tire size would decrease it.

-Did you use spacers? If so what size? Are they 100% necessary

-Mind me asking what you paid per tire or for the set.

Have not monitored mileage but do not see it being any different because of the +0 sizing.

No spacers. Tires fill out the wheel wells quite nicely IMO.

Local shop. $1010 mounted, balanced and aligned-$50 mail in rebate from Hankook = $960.

Nope, I didn't use any spacers. It was mounted, balanced and aligned on the original 19" rims.

Hey Silver37,

I had the original Bridgestone Potenza RE050A. I did not like them after a few hours of driving on them. I found them - too noisy and very hard (making the ride uncomfortably too stiff).

I have come to love the G37 now after I got the Hankooks.
