With a 20x10, it required some fender pull and -2 camber in the rear with an offset of +25 to NOT rub. So with a 10.5, +25, I believe it will rub.

Since it sounds like you can't do custom offset, I think +42 would be better. You can always add spacers too in the future if you feel like it's too conservative.

For the front I have 20x9, +32. But I think you can go more aggressive, maybe +28.

I recommend contacting Vossen about your concern on rubbing, they should be able to address it once and for all so there's no guessing game.

Damnn I did not know it was so complicated getting wheels. im def not doing no fender pull.
So you saying i should do +42 in the rear? with what size of tires?
The front will be offered with +20 or +38 which one will be best n what size tires?
I will contact Vossen also but they take forever when it comes about replying emails.
I appreciate your input Ucla. Honestly I'm starting to feel a bit dissapointed about getting these wheels now :-/

any updates on this? curious as i may be in the same boat.
seems like the best conservative offsets would be 32f/38r range with 245/285

but if these offsets are the only ones available....may be safest to go +38/42, and add spacers if needed.

boosa, let me know if you hear back from vossen, maybe ask them about what offsets they used to test fit the wheels on those many 'teasers' =)

Danchoi, the more ideal would be +20f/+25r. Im actually debating on this because if i get +38f/+42f will be too conservative and than I will want to add spaces (which im not a fan). Tires should be 245/285 but 285 will def rub so maybe some -camber plus trimming the inside fender trim might help. I will wait and see how the G looks when Vossen decides to show good pics than go from there.

yes, from your previous posts i was sure you mentioned you definitely did NOT want to do any trimming, or modifications and just wanted to make sure you had no rubbing.
As someone had already mentioned, the sweet spot seems to be something close to +35 where its safe yet gets rid of that tucked look.

for reference, the stock 19's are +43/+45. which means you're running bigger/wider and about -20mm from stock. I read someone on here rubs slightly with 20mm spacers on just stock wheels + eibachs. so yes...almost guaranteed you will rub.

I'm really thinking about doing +20 +25 n trim the inside lining now. Also get sum -camber in the rear bc I really want these wheels.

You will need to run a lot of negative camber, maybe -2.5, which means extra tire wear = shorter tire life. Might need to pull fender too. You should get them if you really like the design but just be prepared of rubbing.

+25 on a 10.5 will require more than trimming the lining to not rub.

well my 2 cents in your case would be to just get safer offsets with spacers if you feel you need them. then you don't have to worry about rubbing and still look good. Keep in mind these wheels are wider than stock so from what i understand it wouldn't look as tucked in as would a stock wheel running same offset. (i'm a bit nub so correct me if that's wrong)
but if you are fine with modifications and neg camber then more power to you. would love to see some pics when you're finally up and running.

Danchoi I'm not looking to have aggressive offsets. So that saying will +38/+42 be tucked in just as the stockies or will they stick out a bit more? maybe match with the fenders? I don't want no spacers at all.

like i said, i'm no expert =), some of these other guys would probably know better. However, looking at a wheel offset calculator (googling will show several):

if you compare stock width/offset, with Vossen width/offset, the front will stick out +11mm, and the back +22mm more. So to answer your question.

Yes they will stick out more than stockies for sure. This is simply based on the fact that they are lower offset than stock, PLUS, they are wider. Now, where most ppl will debate, it comes down to how much you want it to stick out or "be flush".

I feel asking vossen for some 38/42 mounted would clear all this up in a second =). we'll have to cross our fingers.

+1 if you're getting it from Vossen, I would absolutely get their opinion on it. We can calculate all we want, but at the end of the day, when you get your brand new wheels, and it rubs everywhere, your only option would be to fix it yourself.

Now if you get Vossen's weigh in and they tell you it won't rub and it ends up rubbing, then you got something to work with.

They are a well known vendor and these kind of questions should be a breeze for them. I think it's also part of their job, not yours.
