prepare to spend minimum 3 grand for quality rims (like the brands people mentioned earlier) most of the rims in this category will be 2 piece or 3 piece forged. just make sure when trying to estimate cost you account for:
-center caps
-lug nuts (since you cant use OEM),
-tpms adapters (if required),
- tires
-mounting/balancing ..dont go to pep boys or Sears. spend the extra for a performance shop that mounts high end wheels on a daily.

all those things add up quickly!

Work, Volk & Gram Lights (the entire Rays line up), SSR, Enkei, BBS and then you have the more expensive ones such as DPE, HRE, 360Forged, etc.

Neez, COR forged, DCR forged, VIP Modular.

There are countless brands, I would pick attributes first. What style/size/weight/construction and then look at wheels based on that.

get ICONZ Forged. they're in the mid 3's for 3 piece shipped and 32xx for 2 piece. and you don't need to pay extra for center caps lol.

Lightweight Wheels

Maybe this is a noob question, but do all the manufacturers make lightweight wheels? Or are a few of them more known for their lightweight wheels?

No, not all of them make lightweight wheels. I'd say that most of them don't unless they specialize in wheels for track use/racing.

I thought all you guys got the lightweight wheels to reduce your unsprung weight, and not detract from the horsepower? Are lightweight wheels more of for track use? I'm looking at 19" wheels, is weight not important since I don't plan to track my G?

Holy ****! That's BLASPHEMY!!

j/k

whatever floats your boat man.

The Forgiato's are sick. But they're not for the G's.

They're more for the higher end vehicles. Porsche and Lambo's.

Yea, I'm thinking of just going with the stock 19' OEM wheels and powder-coat them gloss black or something and got the rest of my car blacked out

That is how it normally goes. People say they want the top rims, realize it is gonna run them 7-8k, then decide against it.
