'10 sedan rims

I'm getting ready to buy my G37 this month. I was dead-set on a 6MT having driven and loving MTs my whole life, but test drove a Journey 7AT and I was impressed.

The stock split 5 spoke rims I see on most sedans I really don't like. It looks like webbed fingers. I do like the 7 spoke wheels, however they're not available with a sport. The sport package claims to have a different set of split-5s, but I can't find any confirmed pics of these. I have seen pics of 5 spoke rims split into thirds which looks nice but can't confirm for 2010. Am I stuck with the 9 spoke as the only alternative to "webbed toes" on my G?

Pics: 1) 9-spoke option; 2 and 3) tri-split 5-spoke; 4) standard split-5 "webbed"

How much is the 9 spoke option? I like that one the best.

Interesting. I've never seen the tri-split before. The 9-spoke 18s MSRPs for 1520 not including lugs/center cap:
2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan | Accessories | Infiniti USA
or 1600:
2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan | Packages and Options | Infiniti USA

The first link I think is wheels only, and the 2nd link is for wheels + lugs/cap.

There's one more option you're missing.
The performance tire and wheel package comes with:

These are the same split 7-spoke wheels that the '07 and '08 sport packages used. I like them more than the 5-split sport that my '10 has now. It's the only thing about my '07 G35S i really miss.

Not exactly missing. I did mention I do like the 7-spokes, however the "Performance Tire and Wheel Package" is exclusively NOT available with Sport package, among other things I DO want on my G. I'm not giving up the options for those rims. If they were available I'd pick those up. Thanks for the post and mention though

W01 - Performance Tire and Wheel Package - Only available for Journey (91110)
Invoice $433 MSRP $500
NOT available with the following options:
B93 - Splash Guards (sport)
V92 - R-Spec High Friction Brake Pads
R95 - Aerodynamic Package (Sport)
R01 - Sport Package

Aahh.. yes that's right. You mentioned the Journey that you test drove initially, so I just had that in my mind .

I really do like the 9-spokes though, but not enough to pay another 1600 for them.

The old sports wheels don't fit over the big sports brakes, that's why they came out with the web feet wheels. But I heard some wheel spacers will make them fit.

I think you're better off getting aftermarket wheels. Infiniti wheel options for the G37 sedan are pathetic.

I have the 5 "webbed" on my 09 sedan. They look better in person, but lack that Infiniti look that we've become used to. If you're not going to go aftermarket, then I would go for the 9 spoke.

I found this pic on:
2010 Infiniti G37 - Consumer Guide Automotive

this rim is only shown on the x AWD. Is this the xS (AWD + Sport) rim?

I have seen the "webbed" in person. Just not my thing. I'm liking the 9-spokes. They look decent on the 20th anniversary edition which is pretty close to what I'm getting

I'm with you, man. I liked the 7-spoke the best but they weren't available with my order, either. I thought I liked the 9-spokes from the pictures on Infiniti's website but they didn't impress me as much when I saw them in person at the dealer. So, I'm sticking with the crappy webbed toes until I find something I like better.

Here's a nice shot of the 20th Anniversary edition with the 9-spokes on. I'm really thinking of going with this option, unless there's some way to get those tri-split 5's.
