vossen & forgestar review please

to those people who got vossen wheels
please give a good review of what you personally think of the quality of the wheels and the durability. because i dont want to spend on wheels that will crack or w.e

same with forgestar.

My advise is to try searching the forums, as many members have already posted the information you are searching. Also try other car forums such as G35driver, 6MT, or My370z. There is an abundance of information for your taking.

My vossens were great. Build quality was great, design was great, durability was great..

Only thing i didn't like was how much they weighed. It was VERY VERY noticable comapred to stock 19's..

I've been very pleased with my Vossen Forged wheels. Quality wheels IMO.

Yes i was on 20's. 084's. I felt it slowed it down a little. Wouldn't be able to judge 0-60 times though man..

You can DEF feel a difference with them over stocks though..Just feels like it takes more to get going..

forgestar wheels are much lighter compared to vossen.
forgestars also provide custom offset for each individual customers to their request.

vossen forged wheels are in another league to compare forgestars and regular vossens.

^ it'll be worse than that, being that it's 20 is already slows you down but it's also about 4-6 lb heavier than stock which is a big no no for performance

Forgestar wheels are not very light. Dont let their name fool you, they are not actually forged wheels.

Yes, if you can swing it, I would say go for the Vossen forged wheels. They look better, lighter and stronger.

Are you kidding me? Forgestar wheels are pretty darn light. The F14 at 20" is between 22-24lbs depending on width. At 18" it's not even 18lbs. Vossen Forged VF061 at 20" is 31lbs for comparison. Moreover, Vossen's are 3 piece while the Forgestars are 1 piece.

The 084's at 20" weight about 31-35lbs, I believe.

i know theyre not forged, i ordered a set for a friend before, but due to his financial ties he had to let them go to one of our members here and he really likes them on his ride right now. theyre 1 piece cast flow which is similar to how advans RS or RZs are made.

Vossen monoblock wheels are purely for looks and they got that bling, bling to them, it that's your thing go with them, if racing and speed are more your thing go forged, simple game my friend. I went with Vossen because they are the best looking wheels IMO, classy, a little bling bling, but still not to excessive for the G, perfect amount of it.

a lot of people I know are getting Vossens that they're becoming almost like OEM wheels. I've heard nothing bad about the quality and strength of them
