2010 G37XS With 7 Spoke Rims?
It appears the 18" 7 spoke rims available in the Performance Tire and Wheel package on the G37x are the same rims that were on the 2008 G35s. If so, does anyone have any suggestions on how such a configuration could be ordered, or negotiated with the dealer since based on the Infiniti site it doesn't appear the Sport can be ordered with those rims.

Those are indeed the rims from 2008 sport. I've seen a few dealer pics that were using these on the Journey models (non-sport) instead of the stock 17's. Maybe someone like Da Mayor can clear up how dealers are ordering those.
I know on Infiniti's site, they show a $1600 Performance Package at the bottom of this page: 2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan | Accessories | Infiniti USA
However, that's a 9 spoke model and $1600 seems a bit steep just to upgrade to some factory 18's. I'm sure those split 7 spoke ones must be cheaper but have no idea how dealers are still getting them ordered. Since I've seen several dealers doing it, it could be that Infiniti is offering them as another alternate Performance Wheel package that they can order in their system.
If they were reasonably priced, I wouldn't mind taking them instead of the stock 17's. The Korean 2010G comes with them as the standard 18:

They look pretty good on the 2010. Probably still the best of the sedan factory rims that have been available in recent years.

Ok, here's the pricing sheet for the 2010G from NissanNews:
http://www.nissannews.com/download.do?id=1037
It lists the $1600 9-spoke rims as a "Port Installed Accessory". However, it also lists a $500 Performance Tire & Wheel Package under "Factory Installed Options".
It doesn't say explicitly, but I'd guess that $500 factory installed package is the split-7 spoke ones. $500 to upgrade to those 18's isn't bad at all.
Since you specifically are talking about a G37XS though, it will already come standard with the current 18" rims so i don't know if you'd be able to order one with the 2008 18" rims. The only ones I've seen so far with 2008 18's have been non-sports where the dealer has put the split-7 spoke 18" package on them in place of the new 17" rims.

The other issue you have to consider is the 2009 G37Xs has 18 x 7.5 in wheels and the 9 spoke is 18 x 8. I tried to gather info as to whether or not the 2009 G37X sedan will take the 18 x 8 in wheels and Suburban Infiniti of Troy Michigan said they will NOT and recommended not to put them on my lease car.

All thanks for the feedback.
NetMag from what I can tell you are correct the 18' x7.5 wheels in the performance tire package do appear to be the same as the 2008 wheels. I'm also thinking those are the same wheels that are on the picture of the 2010 in Smoky Onyx.
So there are really 3 different 18" wheels for the 2010 G37x correct:
18 x 7.5 (5 spoke): Sport Package
18 x 7.5 (7 spoke): Performance Tire and Wheel Package
18 x ?? (9 spoke): As the $1,600 Accessory
My delima is I want the G37x with the 7 spoke and the sports package, but the Infiniti site configuration dosn't allow for that set up.

Sorry still confused. So on the "build your G sedan" configuration site for the G37x there the "Performance Tire & Wheel Package" which when you select the "?" it states:
• Split 7-spoke, 18 x 7.5-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 V-rated all-season tires (front and rear)
So which 7 spoke wheels are those?

I was hoping that some G37x models would also show up with the 7-spokes. The website mentions that those performance wheels are an option for the G37x.
2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan | Specifications | Infiniti USA
See under Wheels and Tires towards the bottom of the page.
It lists:
Split 7-spoke, 18 x 7.5-inch aluminum-alloy with 225/50R18 V-rated all-season performance tires (front and rear)
There it claims that the tires aren't staggered and that they're all-season tires so it's listed as an available option for both the Journey and the X (non-sport) models.
Is that an error on the website?
Either way for the OP, I don't think you could get them if you also get the Sport Package. If you get an X with the Sport Package, then you'll just get a G37xS and so you'll get the rims that come standard with that. If you get an X non-sport then there may be a possible chance to get those rims if the website options are correct.

Is it fair to say that the wheels in the first pic are the $500 wheel and tire option and the wheels in the last picture (on the coupe) are the $1,600 option? Do you know if the setup is staggered in the $1,600 9 spoke option?
