Wish list
I was just looking around the net to get some ideas on rims for the summer. I checked out wheelsnext to get some idea. I have never heard of these companies before, which is I suppose the reason the prices are VERY reasonable compared to BBS, HRE, etc. Just wanted to get some feedback on these brands and models.
1) 5 Zigen SC3000 in hyperblack. 5-ZIGEN Sc3000 Hyperblack Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com
2) Axis Penta in hyperblack. AXIS Penta Hyperblack Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com
3) Ace Alloy Matrix D632 in hyperblack. Ace Alloy Matrix Hyperblack Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com
4) Ace Alloy Strada D530 in hyperblack. Ace Alloy Strada Hyperblack Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com
5) MRR Design GT1 in hypersilver. MRR Design GT_1 Hypersilver Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com
6) RPM R505 in hypersilver. RPM R_505 Hypersilver Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com
7) Tenzo Type M Version 2 machined w/black. TENZO Type_M Version 2 Machined w| Black Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com
8) XXR 6 in gunmetal gloss. XXR 6 Gunmetal Gloss Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com
I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but what about the brands and models listed? Too cheap?
My choice would be some BBS wheels, but they would about 4K before tires.

Wait till all the wheel pro's chime in but one thing's for sure, there's a reason they cost so "reasonable". I'd rather stick to OEMs.

I was on your same boat a while back, had a tight budget but was craving for wheels, after lots of research and reading, you can't beat OEM quality, not at 2k at least. Just my opinion bro, go with your heart.

Out of that bunch, Axis and MRR would be the only two that I would go with. Only because I've hear of them, know G35/37 owners who have had positive experience with both brands and have read positive feedback from forum member who have had experience with both brands. Maybe 5Zigen but only saw it in Tuner magazines so I'm only assuming it's decent.

I did a search and found a few threads/post regarding these wheels. Only one guy had them and that was with 18".
They are 3lbs lighter than our stock rims, can be had for 2K and have a pretty clean design.

Honestly I do not think I could ever buy a metal rim that is a functional and imporant piece of safety for my car that costs LESS than the disposable rubber tires mounted on them.
Again, this may just be me.

Surprised on the above replies. Do you guys think our stock rims are poor/cheap quality? I think they are pretty good quality, just a little boring.
Same company makes both, but these are lighter and nicer looking, IMO. I get not liking the look (we all have different tastes), but surprised at the quality comments.
But I suppose if you ask for comments......

You want professional opinions you honestly just got them.. If you're willing to sacrifice quality for looks, then go for it. Fact remains, wheels are your connection to the ground.
Quality should be your first priority
